The atelier
Lure is a small house in Doha. We design, cut and finish every abaya ourselves, most of them only after you order.
Cut to your length
An abaya should end where you want it to, not where a size chart decides. Every made-to-order piece is cut to the length you choose, from 52 to 60 inches, and to your size.
Finished by hand
Hems are rolled and pressed by hand. Beading, zari and piping are sewn on in the atelier, one cuff at a time, by the same small team that cuts the cloth.
Cloth we would wear ourselves
Korean nida for its fall, Japanese crepe for its weight, silk velvet and georgette for evenings. We buy in small runs, so some colors come and go with the seasons.
